Revision advice worth the reading time.

Short, practical guidance from the way we teach. Downloadable revision materials will be added here as our courses run.

Revision technique

A revision timetable you will actually follow

Start from the hours you really have, not the hours you wish you had. Block subjects in short sessions with a clear finish, and plan one catch-up slot every week so a missed day does not collapse the plan.

Exam practice

How to use a past paper properly

Do it timed, mark it against the real mark scheme, then write down the reason you lost each mark. The list of reasons is the revision plan, not the paper itself.

For parents

Supporting revision without adding pressure

Ask about the plan rather than the grades, protect sleep and food, and keep one part of the week free of revision talk. Consistency helps more than intensity.

Exam day

Managing nerves in the exam hall

Nerves are normal and mostly useful. Reading the whole paper first, starting with a question you can definitely do, and having a timing rule for each section turns adrenaline into pace.
