TheStudySoc 11+

Calm, structured preparation for grammar and independent school entrance.

The 11+ rewards preparation, not pressure. We build the maths, English and reasoning skills the exams actually test, in small groups, with honest feedback for parents at every stage.

Families with children in Years 4, 5 and 6 preparing for grammar or independent school entrance.

How we work

Skills before tricks

We teach the underlying maths and literacy first, reasoning scores follow strong foundations.

Little and often

Steady weekly practice beats intensive cramming at this age. Our courses are built around that.

Parents kept informed

You always know what was covered, how your child did, and what happens next.

Questions, answered

When should my child start preparing?

Most families begin in Year 4 or early Year 5. Starting earlier means shorter, calmer sessions, we'll give you an honest view of timing when you get in touch.

Do you prepare for specific schools?

We prepare for the formats used by grammar and independent schools, including GL and school-specific papers. Tell us which schools you're considering and we'll tailor the preparation.

How do we know if our child is on track?

Every mock comes with a written report, and we'll always tell you honestly where your child stands, including if we think a different school list makes sense.

When do courses run?

Dates, venues and fees are confirmed by email to the interest list before each cohort opens. Registering interest is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
