TheStudySoc Finance Pathway

A clear route from the classroom into banking, consulting and the City.

Careers in finance run on timelines most students never hear about, spring weeks, insight days, internship deadlines in first year. The Finance Pathway makes the route visible early and helps you compete for each step.

Students from Year 12 through university who are curious about careers in finance and consulting.

Programmes

Pathway roadmap

A 1:1 session mapping your route: which degrees and universities firms recruit from, which deadlines matter, and what to do in each year.

Spring week & internship applications

CV development, application reviews and cover letter feedback for spring weeks, insight days and summer internships.

Interview & assessment preparation

Practice for competency, motivational and technical interviews, plus the online tests and assessment centres firms actually use.

How we work

Start early

The students who win spring weeks knew the deadlines in September. We make sure that's you.

Realistic routes

Not everyone needs a target-school degree. We'll show you the routes that fit your actual position.

Taught by doing

Real applications, real mock interviews, real feedback, no generic careers advice.

Questions, answered

Is this for school students or university students?

Both. School students get early guidance on subjects, degrees and universities; university students get application and interview support for specific opportunities.

Which careers does this cover?

Investment banking, asset management, consulting, accounting and related City careers. If you're not sure which fits you, that's exactly what the roadmap session is for.

Do I need to study a finance degree?

No, firms recruit from a wide range of degrees. We'll give you an honest view of how your subject choices affect your options.

What does it cost?

Fees depend on the programme and are confirmed by email when you register interest. There's no commitment at this stage.

Register interest

Hear first when Finance Pathway opens
